Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set a timer duration?

You can set the timer duration in several ways. Tap the settings button on the top left of the main screen and then in the sheet that opens select the duration you prefer. You can also tap the duration on the home screen to open the same settings. Another way of updating the duration is by dragging the gradient around the timing window in a circular motion. You will see the duration update interactively on the screen.

How do I set the amount of interval sounds?

Just like duration this can be updated in the settings sheet. Another way is to drag the outer ring with the interval ticks on it in a circular motion. The amount of interval sounds and the duration in between will be shown on the screen.

Are the interval sounds always the same?

No, the interval sound is slightly different each time it rings. The completion sound is always the same.

How do I set a start delay?

In the settings sheet, which can be opened with the button on the top left of the screen, a start delay can be configured. A short countdown will begin before the meditation starts.

Can I pause a meditation?

It is not possible to pause a meditation. This has been done on purpose because the app assumes that the chosen duration is how long you intend to meditate.

What is the completion emoji?

The completion emoji is my way of making the whole app a bit more whimsical. After a meditation has completed this emoji will be shown in the History. The History can be opened with the button on the top right of the app, next to the About button.

The completion emoji will also be shown in several available widgets.

On devices with Apple Intelligence enabled it is also possible to create your own Genmoji and set that as the completion emoji.
